You’ve thought, and planned about this day for a long time! Now that it’s here, your wedding day details are some of the most important photos of the day.
Besides the newlywed photos, the ceremony, oh and just about everything else! haha
Not only do they help tell a unique story about your love, but they also compliment all the other images throughout the big day. We make sure to set aside an hour for detail photos. As soon as we arrive onsite, these will be the first images we capture!
So what are a few things that help guarantee great detail photos? Having both of you get ready at the venue. Yes, you read that correctly. When our couples get ready onsite it allows us to pull little items from your reception setup that might have been over looked for detail photos. For example, personalized calligraphed place cards or palm fans for those warmer outdoor weddings. It also allows us to include some groom details for the flat lays!
We recommend having at least the following for every wedding day:
-
Rings (engagement & both wedding bands)
-
Full Invitation suite
-
Perfume
-
Shoes
-
Veil
-
Family heirlooms: handkerchiefs, jewelry, or gifts
-
Bouquet, boutonniere, flower crowns
-
Extra wedding day blooms and greenery that we can play with specifically for these images
It’s best to have these items set aside in their own box and ready to go for when we arrive.
We highly recommend asking your florist to include loose flowers, and other pieces with their bouquet delivery to your bridal suite the morning of the wedding for us!
In addition to what we recommend having ready for every wedding, we’ve seen so many fun items included that help make the photos unique and special to the specific couple.
