This wedding season, we’ve been so fortunate to work with some of the nicest people, Emily and Pete were no exception! After spending a week at Folly Beach with their families they were married on a gorgeous spring Charleston day at Magnolia Plantation. Fleurdetroit provided an incredible vision for the day, and a keen eye for detail. Make sure to check out the beautiful flower-lined ceremony aisle by Petaloso, the all white dance floor, and of course the (air-conditioned!) whimsical sailcloth reception tent filled with stunning hanging lanterns and greenery. On top of that, it was black tie attire for the gentlemen. Everyone looked so good! If you’re considering black tie for your wedding, do it! The groom had a special request for a group photo with his groomsmen, see if you can spot which one it is below! (haha!)
The wedding ceremony took place on the Long White Bridge Lawn with an aisle lined with whimsical white flowers, and light from the setting sun filling the lawn. This is definitely one of the prettiest wedding venues in Charleston! Pete cried happy tears when he saw Emily walking up the aisle. After the ceremony we made sure to grab some group shots on the long white bridge and around the lawn with all the pretty spring blooms. Their wedding ceremony was an absolute blast, and the set up was absolutely gorgeous. They had a live band, A-Town A-List, that really brought the house down with their infectious energy. After their parent dances, the bride changed into a custom made reception dress that had a large bow on the back, it was so adorable! Everyone danced the night away (including us!) We had the best time shooting this wedding!
