Middleton Place is one our our favorite wedding venues in Charleston. The gardens are meticulously kept, and the grand views of the Ashley River are what wedding dreams are made of. We were so happy to photograph Shannon and Quinn on such a beautiful spring day in Charleston. Make sure you check out their beautiful ceremony site, the flower-covered chandelier at the reception, and of course their wedding portraits! Quinn and the groomsmen all wore black tuxedos, and the groom really stood out with the small touch of blue green buttons and cufflinks. Shannon donned an off-shoulder gown, lace top with a satin bottom. We had so much fun taking their group photos before the ceremony, there really is a never ending list of picturesque places around Middleton Place!

The ceremony in the octagonal garden was so perfect, they were lucky enough to be married by the same priest as Quinn’s parents! If you’re a bride looking for a grand entrance this spot is hard to beat! After the “I do’s”, some absolutely gorgeous newlywed portraits, and cocktail hour overlooking the crane pond it was time to party! The reception space was perfectly decorated with greenery-covered string lighting, a flower chandelier statement piece, and an elegant place setting complete with a jar of honey wedding favor. Their first dance was filled with twists, turns, dips, and even a flip! Which they absoutely nailed! There were heartfelt speeches, a personalized rap performance by the bride’s siblings, and a full crowd sing along to “Country Roads”. This was a fun one for sure!
