Fall is one of our favorite times of the year in Charleston. Gabrielle and Bill had the most perfect September day to have their outdoor wedding ceremony at the Governor Thomas Bennett House. This enchanting set up included pampas topped columns at the ceremony site, and hanging installations in their supremely elegant sperry tent. The wedding ceremony took place on the side lawn of the house, under the majestic live oak, with the sound of the fountain bubbling in the background. It was filled with laughter and happy tears from everyone including the bridal party. The couple brought their adorable French Bulldog, Pippa, all the way from NYC just so she could be apart of the day too. If you’ve been following along with us for a little bit then you’d understand how excited we were! We absoutely love when our couples include their pups! The bridal party wore all black, tuxedos for the guys and high-necked sleeveless dresses for the girls with statement gold earrings.
After the ceremony and some family photos, there was a sun-soaked, al fresco cocktail hour. The live band, Power 2 Party, absolutely brought the house down with their performance. Not only did they sound incredible, their choreographed dance moves really got the party going. Needless to say, we had so much fun during their reception! This wedding was what modern, classic, boho dreams are made of!
