Have you ever dreamt of getting married in Charleston? The Holy City has a ton of great wedding venues to choose from. The best part is that they’re all unique and beautiful in their own ways!
Megan and Jason’s summer wedding at Boone Hall could not have been more beautiful. Not to mention, Charleston was really showing off by giving them a not-so-humid day (which is unheard of in the month of August down here!) Megan wore a stunning Anne Barge wedding dress complete with large bow detail on her back. While Jason wore a custom suit complete with personalized cuff links and their wedding date embroidered on inside his jacket.
Their two pups were also dressed to the nines with a floral collar and bowtie. They buried the bourbon and I’m not saying it’s the real reason the weather was so perfect for the big day, but I’m also not, not saying that either! haha.
Their ceremony on the side lawn under the live oaks was nothing short of stunning. During the ceremony they incorporated the ancient Celtic ritual of Handfasting to symbolize the binding of two lives. It was meaningful and beautiful! They exited to the sound of bagpipes, ate fun colorful apps from Cru Catering and danced the night away with a quick dress change for the bride!
