Catherine and Wil’s wedding day at Agapae Oaks on St. Helena Island was nothing short of a dream, embodying the couple’s love for summer with a vibrant palette of soft blues and sunny yellows. They transformed their vision into reality by adding personal touches like repurposing the flowers from their rehearsal dinner, blending creativity with a commitment to sustainability.

Their day began with an intimate church ceremony in Beaufort, surrounded by 80 of their closest family and friends. The heartfelt exchange of vows set a loving tone that carried throughout the celebration. As the ceremony concluded, the couple and their guests moved to Agapae Oaks, where the real festivities began. The sprawling venue, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, was the perfect setting for the couple’s grand celebration, with over 200 guests joining them in the joy of the day.

The inspiration for their wedding was drawn from their love of summer, reflected in every detail, from the light and breezy color palette to the enchanting wildflower fields where Catherine and her bridesmaids danced. The couple’s passion for film photography was another highlight, with timeless moments captured in a way that felt both nostalgic and fresh.

 The joy of the day was palpable, a sentiment echoed by the musical choices that accompanied the evening. Catherine and Wil shared their first dance to Randy Travis’s “Forever and Ever, Amen,” a song that perfectly captured the enduring love they celebrated. The evening continued with lively performances by a funk band, keeping the energy high and the dance floor full.
