Over the moon from a blissful rehearsal dinner, Taylor and Tyler strolled hand in hand across Kiawah Island’s Cassique golf course towards the dreamy sailcloth tent where their loved ones waited to greet them. Illuminated by glowing string lights cascading above their heads, the couple made their rounds welcoming their friends to the Lowcountry. The guests cozied up on the coastal decor, sipping Topo Chico Ranch Waters and admiring the Texas-inspired Taylor and Tyler wedding details. Bonding over their bolo ties and cowboy boots, the stylish wedding party raised their glasses to the first night of an unforgettable weekend.
The next morning we found Taylor and her bridesmaids sipping champagne and getting dolled up at the Cassique Clubhouse. Wearing a precious powder blue cardigan over her floor-length nightgown, Taylor sat at the charm bracelet bar, designing her made-to-order bracelet. A natural beauty, Taylor’s sandy blonde waves fell perfectly around her fresh, glowing face. Her bridesmaids in blue monogrammed PJ sets gushed over their customized charm bracelets and thanked Taylor for the thoughtful gift. With her mom’s help, Taylor slipped into her Reem Acra wedding gown with a strapless cat eye neckline and textured floral jacquard fabric. Twirling for her bridesmaids, the girls cheered and laughed, unanimously agreeing the elegant dress was the perfect fit.
A vibrant spectacle of mismatched floral fabrics, the ladies grabbed their monochrome bouquets and packed into the party bus. Queuing up her favorite songs, Taylor led an epic dance party as the bus headed to the Kiawah River Course. Singing the words to every song, she whipped her veil around and landed like a white cloud on the leather seats. With technicolor neon lights strobing around them, the ladies cheered for their radiant rockstar bride. Arriving at the venue, we stowed Tyler out of sight so that Taylor could meet her dad for a first look. Stunned to see his daughter as a bride, he erupted into joyful laughter. The two embraced and Taylor’s dad promised he would soon meet her at the top of the aisle.
Tyler was wedding day-ready sporting his Brackish bow tie with matching cufflinks and a feather lapel pin. Looking out at the serene tidelands surrounding him, he breathed in the final moments before starting a new chapter of his life. The excited guests began to fill the venue, showering one another in warm hugs and taking their seats on the lawn facing the Kiawah River. As the music began to play the guests turned to see the colorful procession make its way down the aisle. In their airy blue and white dresses, the bridesmaids looked impeccable next to the blooming arbor and the coastal backdrop. With her dad by her side, Taylor floated down the aisle towards Tyler, the salty wind dramatically whipping at her veil and her beachy waves. Locked into each other’s line of sight, the couple met at the romantic floral arbor and vowed to share a life full of love and laughter.
As the sun set over the peaceful seascape, the guests grabbed their cocktails from the bar, laughing at the hilarious Taylor and Tyler drink stirrers floating in their cups. Standing on the clubhouse patio they watched their new favorite couple flirting away on the golf course. Taylor laughed as Tyler twirled her around, her full white skirt dramatically sweeping at the lush lawn. The newlyweds snuggled in close by the breathtaking arbor blooming with white roses and hydrangeas, crowned with a towering oak tree standing proud against the vast landscape. Happy with a few candid newlywed shots, they told us they were ready to dance, and headed inside to get the party started.
The immaculate monochrome ballroom oozed a timeless, elevated elegance. Crisp, white linens covered every surface where opulent floral arrangements by Roadside Blooms blossomed from the center. Each place setting was complete with glistening glassware, a powder blue serviette and a fresh sprig of rosemary. The white stone fireplace was exalted with sprawling green Italian ruscus, framing the sweetheart table and the couple’s four-tiered cake adorned with cascading florals. Thanks to Pure Luxe Bride, the soft and dreamy atmosphere harmonized perfectly with the coastal landscape, while simultaneously providing a unique Lowcountry wedding experience.
Coming in hot, the couple marched through the crowd, hugging their loved ones and pulling their party-ready guests to the dance floor for an opening number. Wearing shimmering gowns with marabou trim, Simply Irresistible got everyone warmed up and footloose. Madly in love, Taylor and Tyler met in the center of the room for their first dance. Spinning and laughing in their own world, they sang along to every word of Tyler Childers’ ballad “In Your Love.” Taylor invited her father up for a dance, spreading a ripple of weepy tears throughout the ballroom as they swayed to Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life.” Following behind, Tyler took his mother’s hands and pulled her to the center to sing along to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.”
After a bad-to-the-bone outfit change, Simply Irresistible owned the stage with some serious sass. The crowd loved it and simply could not resist getting up and dancing to every song they played. Bouncing around in the center, Taylor and Tyler carried the energy of the dance floor. Ready to change into something she could break it down in, Taylor stole away to slip on her mini cocktail dress with an oversized bow tied in the back. In her silk ballet flats, she challenged Tyler to a dance contest. Tearing off his jacket and rocking his suspenders, he showed off the best of his dance moves to his new wife. In honor of the couple’s Texas roots, neon iridescent cowboy hats with matching heart-shaped sunglasses flooded the dance floor. Between their new outfits and the craft coffee and donut service, the wedding party had all they needed to keep the night going.
Not sleeping on their rockstar moment, the couple took to the stage to perform “Revival” by Zach Bryan. Wearing matching red, white and blue cowboy hats, they sang passionately into the mic, making their fans go wild. Between hysterical laughter and tears of joy, they savored the view from onstage, looking out at the smiling faces of their loved ones. With Simply Irresistible’s brass horns leading the charge, the guests gathered outside, creating a runway for a rockstar-worthy send-off. Like the stylish Texans they are, they danced down the runway, gifting everyone with one final spin and a kiss. Jumping into a doorless Jeep, they popped their heads through the sunroof, wishing their loved ones the best and thanking them for a perfect evening. Still singing at the top of their lungs and dancing in the backseat, they drove off into the night, in love and in style.
Congratulations to our favorite Texan rockstars, Mr. and Mrs. Perper!
