This session was so special to us. The bride to be here is a fellow wedding vendor and currently planning her own wedding! Tim and I could not be more excited to photograph these two for their engagement and upcoming bridal portraits & big day! They wanted their session to be unique to their love story so we went back to where it all started with them: the bar. We absoutely love when couples want to make their images have a personal touch and that’s exactly what these two did! They even added in their adorable and sweet rescue pup Dude for some of the photos.

Once upon a time Haley worked at a brewery called Fatty’s. There was one guy who always came in super dirty from building hotels all day and would sit at the bar. Suddenly I realized this guy was coming in a lot (like every shift I worked) and I started to realize he’s a pretty cool and chill guy, I think we should be friends. One day out of our many days of hanging at the brewery, I asked Zach to come by, Zach said he leaped right into his truck as quick as he could- little did I know he had a huge crush on me. It ended up just being the two of us hanging out all night long, talking, laughing like we had been friends for years. SO I trusted my gut and here we are. 3 years later and he’s the best thing that has ever happened to me!!

Zach lived on a sailboat when I met him, which was quite the adventure! I loved all of our mornings we would spend together on the boat and suddenly sailing became a special thing for us- even though I’m not very good at it haha. One afternoon we took the boat out with some friends and we were having a blast, it started to rain and Zach grabbed me to tell me how much he loved me and then he got down on one knee! I was so surprised and of course said YAS! There was a beautiful rainbow that magically appeared after and everything was like a dream come true that day! Zach has made my whole life a dream come true since I’ve met him and I’m so grateful to be marrying my best friend!
