Cagney and Rucker reached out to us for a photography session to capture the two of them together before Rucker’s upcoming deployment. Living in Savannah now, these Citadel graduates decided that Charleston would be the perfect place for photos. They were thinking “beach”, so of course we suggested the Morris Inlet Lighthouse on the tip of Folly Beach. Cagney and Rucker were seriously the sweetest couple! It was a chilly day and the two of them really toughed it out! We started our session tucked away from the wind in the most beautiful little patch of trees, and even found a swing to grab a few shots of them on.

Cagney wore a fun hat that kept getting blown in the breeze. After that we walked over to the deadwood trees near the water for a couple more photos. Cagney and Rucker were brave enough to walk in the chilly water, and we think the pictures were worth it! Our final spot was along the jetty, further up the beach, with the Morris Inlet Lighthouse in the background.
