Southern Charm Meets Modern Elegance: A Lowcountry Welcome at High Cotton & Henry’s

Christine and George’s wedding weekend kicked off in true Charleston style, blending timeless elegance with laid-back charm. The night before their big day, the couple hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner at High Cotton, a nod to the city’s rich heritage. With only their closest family and bridal party in attendance, the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and anticipation.

Following the rehearsal, the celebration expanded to a lively welcome party at Henry’s Rooftop. Guests who had traveled from near and far gathered under the Southern sky, where the couple’s vision of combining film and digital photography beautifully captured the night’s atmosphere. From candid moments to posed perfection, every shot told a story of joy, connection, and the start of a lifetime together.

Christine looked stunning in a sleek, modern white dress, and George complemented her perfectly in a sharp, dark green suit. As they mingled with their guests, the excitement for the weekend ahead was palpable. The rooftop setting provided a perfect view of Charleston’s historic district, while the sounds of laughter and clinking glasses filled the air.

Guests were treated to a selection of handcrafted cocktails, reflecting the couple’s love for classic Southern hospitality. The evening was an effortless blend of tradition and celebration, setting the tone for the wedding day to follow.

As the night came to a close, Christine and George shared a quiet moment together, looking out over the city that would soon witness their vows. Surrounded by loved ones, they knew this was just the beginning of a weekend they would cherish forever.
